look ma! i'm in the paper!

(our clown punks at Brooklyn Bowl)

some of the work that my good friend Heather Corbett and i did for Brooklyn Bowl has been featured in an article in the Sept/Oct 2009 issue of I.D. Magazine.

i'm very grateful to all the guys at Brooklyn Bowl for the opportunity to be part of such an exciting space, and the designer, Tristam Steinberg, for acknowledging us in the article.

Brooklyn Bridge. Acrylic on sticker paper 8.5"x11"

here's what i do for myself. i enjoy cutting out teeny tiny pieces of paper for hours on end. i suppose it takes a certain temperament.

there'll be more.

my work will be featured in a home on the Palisades Home Tour on Nov. 8th 2009, and in a solo show coming up in December in Los Angeles. details to follow.

there are also possibly some things that resemble my work in Bed-Stuy, Williamsburg, Clinton Hill, and Dumbo, Brooklyn. of course i would never do anything illegal, so i don't know how, or if, this happened.

sometimes i miss New York desperately. today is one of those days.

...

Apparently, I've started a blog.
